Keys to the Future!

Valdosta High School teamed up with Wiregrass Georgia Technical College and Valdosta Toyota Scion for a second year to offer the Keys to the Future Program. This program involves both the students and teachers requiring them to work together to set and achieve specific, individual goals for academics, attendance and extra-curricular activities throughout the school year. A random drawing gave 15 seniors a key for the chance to win a car. Pierce Wallace was the lucky winner of a 2013 Toyota Scion IQ! Each of the students who did not win the car received other prizes such as iPod touches, Samsung Galaxy tablets, HD Kindle Fires, or HP laptops. In addition, Wiregrass Georgia Tech awarded a $500 scholarship to Laquan Lawrence.
