Public Safety Appreciation

On November 11, a Public Safety Appreciation Ceremony was held on the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus. The college’s Criminal Justice and Early Childhood Care and Education programs teamed up to recognize those who serve to protect us every day. As a tribute to all those who lost their lives while in the line of duty, the students created a “Fallen Memorial Wall.” Approximately 40 of our local first responders were present for the ceremony and recognized with a certificate. After a tour the memorial hall, refreshments were served.
