For the first time, on December 16, 2016, Wiregrass Commencement Exercises were held at the UGA Conference Center in Tifton, Georgia. The ceremony included all credit programs and GED graduates, and the John Hunt Auditorium easily accommodated the families and friends of our graduates.
Corks and Forks is a Wiregrass Foundation South annual fundraising event. Monies raised are used to fund scholarships, textbook assistance for students, program expansions, equipment and supplies for programs. Wiregrass GA Tech recently hosted a Practical Nursing Forum sponsored by the Technical College System of Georgia. Practical Nursing is one of 28 programs offered at Wiregrass that qualifies for the Governor’s Strategic Industries Workforce Development Grant (SIWDG).
