Area high school and middle school students attended the Stem & Medical Event on the Valdosta Campus on February 12, 2019.
On Tuesday, February 28, our annual “Get Wired for Allied Health” event was held on the Valdosta Campus. Almost 1000 students from 18 different high schools and middle schools got to see “up close” some of the allied health programs offered at Wiregrass.
Wiregrass Cosmetology and Criminal Justice Programs provided free haircuts and finger printing!
We asked for faculty, staff, and students to submit a logo of their design for the Quality Enhancement Project the Center of Excellence. The rule was that the logo must incorporate the slogan “Engaged in Excellence”. The committee has selected the top three logos for us to vote! On April 11, 2013, the Wiregrass Georgia Tech Foundation South held its third annual fundraiser, Corks and Forks. The evening began with a cooking demonstration from Savannah Technical College Culinary Program Coordinator, Executive Chef Jean Yves Vendeville. Following the demonstration, local chefs served the guests exquisite dishes paired with their choice of wine.
